It's easier to build wellness than to treat disease so shift your focus to the preventative side which of course includes healthy eating. The food you eat can and the drinks you consume can either promote healing you or slowly poison your body into dis-ease. There are only two sides of chemistry when it comes to the body: acid and alkaline. Choose the alkaline, healing side of chemistry. Like Hippocrates said, "Let medicine be thy food and food thy medicine."
PLANT BASED WHOLE FOOD
A plant based whole food diet is one of the best diets to follow and is the only diet that has been shown to halt and reverse life threatening conditions such as heart disease and diabetes. Vegetarians and vegan populations have much lower rates of heart diseases, high blood pressure, diabetes, and obesity compared to populations who include animal proteins. Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn says that "some people think plant-based diet, whole foods diet is extreme. Half a million people a year will have their chests opened up and a vein taken from their leg and sewn onto their coronary artery. Some people would call that extreme."
